Today is question day, well a day where I ask you a question. What I want to know is what is your greatest financial fear? We are all afraid of something, and all of us are scared of something financial. I want to know what your fear is. You don’t have have to use your name, or even your real email, just tell me in the comments what your fear is. I am going to try to use the information for an upcoming post.
What scares you the most about money?
What one thing related to your finances could keep you up at night?
The only thing that scares me about money is to not have enough to provide for my family. I have two stellar boys and an awesome wife. They deserve to have a good life, not a what ever you want kind of life but a life where they don’t have to worry about food, or the mortgage being paid. My biggest fear is having fears many people face every day. The fear of not being able to pay for food, or having to make the decision between food or rent. That is what keeps me up at night and what drives me to work hard to succeed in everything I do.
Tell me your greatest fear. Anonymously or not, lets air our laundry and tell the world (well ~400 people anyway) what we are most afraid of.

Kyle,
I think my biggest fear is losing my job. That would definitely have the biggest financial impact on my life.

We’re working to attack our debt right now and are on the path to be (consumer) debt free in about a year. All of the intensity of just an aggressive attack makes me a bit obsessive with managing it all. I’m concerned that once the debt is gone, I will love our money too much and become obsessed with HAVING it.

My biggest fear is providing for my family while wanting to live the life I have always dreamed of. I think it is almost genetically inherit in most males to feel that way. Actually you should check out my post today – I just happen to write about almost the same topic.

I totally agree with the family part. I feel like if I were on my own, I could live with next to nothing and still be happy. But the possibility of not being able to care for my wife scares the crap out of me.
My biggest financial fear is that I will continue to work for money and as a result I will continue to be a slave to it.
