Wealthy Bloggers – February 2010

And the list just keeps on growing. I am up to just about 30 blogs now on this list, while I don’t have good demographic information on everyone involved here you can learn a lot be visiting each of the net worth updates linked from the blog names. Β I wish I was moving up faster but things just don’t seem to work out that way.

I have added the chart back in at the end of this post, it shows the average net worth of the list over time as well as the median net worth of the list. It took a pretty big dive this month after the addition of Deliver Away Debt and the Australian Dollar losing ground in the conversion to US Dollars.

Everyone has to start somewhere Samurai. I hope I give those a looking at this list a little hope, as bad as their net worth may be it’s probably not as bad as mine :-). I’m more than happy to bring up the rear. Look for some big gains in the %change column in the coming months.

Sorry to ask stupid question, but what does “NRY” mean? Some things that crossed my mind: Not Ready Yet, Not Rich Yet, Never Retire Yuppie, No Room Yoda…….. hmmmm can’t think of what it stands for! Doh.

Looks like L from Couples Finance takes the cake as the biggest percentage mover. Well done Elle!

8 Kyle February 9, 2010 at 3:46 pm

I guess I took that explanation off, it means “Not Reported Yet.” Although I think I prefer they “Never Retire Yuppie”

9 Stephanie PTY February 9, 2010 at 7:29 pm

I always wondered who those people are who lobby to go on to Forbes’ Rich List and so on when they see their buddies from the golf club on there. πŸ˜‰

I’m tempted to start declaring net worth, but perhaps I’ll wait until the £ strengthens against the dollar! (Actually, I’m far too reserved – but kudos to those who do, and to you for compiling the list!)

17 Budgeting in the Fun Stuff April 13, 2010 at 10:51 pm

Can I be added to the monthly roll? I post my net worth update every month. I do calculate it with our house and cars (no other belongings), but it’s itemized so it would be easy to calculate whatever way you’d prefer…
