It has been a long time it seems like since I did an actual round up. The Holidays got in the way and then P90x kicked the life out of me for a week. I am trying to get back into the swing of things now though so hopefully I will be more consistent in the coming weeks. I am probably going to be reducing my postings down to three posts a week so I can get some more sleep while working through P90x. If I find I don’t need as much time as I think I do I will certainly get back to daily postings during the week. Please stick with me through this because I am firm believer that being physically fit is just as important as being financially fit.
@RJWeiss of GenYWealth sent over The 7 Deadly Sins of Personal Finance. An intuitive relation between the 7 deadly sins and money.
@SimplyForties ran a guest post this week about diversifying your income. Income diversification is often overlooked but can really help you to weather a financial storm. Alternate streams of income could be the difference between riding it out and filing for bankruptcy.
@Money Matters has been running a series called How to Make Money with a Blog. A good look at ways to use blogging to diversify your income streams.
@MattJabs explains when compound interest “Kicks in”. Compound interest is a powerful beast used both in our favor and against. Matt does a good job of explaining how it will eventually make you more on your savings than you put in.
@JeremyVoh does something I can’t and explains why you should think twice before doing a ROTH conversion if you are using account assets to pay taxes due. Great job of explaining the hidden pitfalls of using money out of your IRA to pay taxes on a ROTH conversion.

Whoa dude… P90X? You’re insane! And a better man than me… if you make it through of course. 😉
There is a good chance I will just end up sprawled out on my Living room Floor unable to move… but hey I will be ripped! Ha Ha, I will actually settle for just physically fit.
